Kids, mark your calendars! St. Nicholas Sunday is December 8th
We will be celebrating the feast of St. Nicholas at our 10:30 A.M. service with a children's sermon. Come and hear the story about the original Santa Claus. "Mighty" boxes for collecting coins to benefit children's ministries in the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem will also be distributed. A coin a day in the "Mighty" Box reminds us of the true reason for the season--the arrival of the Christ child for the healing of the world. We will gather in the Mighty Boxes on Sunday, January 6th at another family friendly worship event on the feast of the Epiphany.
End of Sunday School Program for Children and Children’s Christmas Party, Sunday, December 15th
We will have our last day of Sunday School for the year on Sunday, December 15, and host a Parish Christmas Party after the 10:30 am Eucharist. Parishioners can join the children in decorating the trees, frosting holiday cookies or making ornaments. Pizza will be served.
Also, join the children for a special pageant on Christmas Eve! The children will retrace the journey of the Holy Family and celebrate the birth of Jesus during the Children's Christmas Eve service at 4 p.m. For more information contact Rochelle Cripe at email@example.com

Baking Up Nice Surprises delivery, December 8th
The winter B.U.N.S. (Baking Up Nice Surprises) delivery is coming up soon, and DeKalb County Hospice (DCH) would appreciate your help. Three times a year, many of you prepare baked goods for hospice patients and bereaved families. When DCH receives your cookies, fresh fruit, candies, breads, etc., a group of volunteers makes up gift bags filled with a variety of the goodies for hospice families. DCH typically delivers 115 to 145 bags each time, and the gifts are greatly appreciated by the people who receive them. To meet the next delivery, baked goods may be dropped off at the parish hall kitchen by Sunday, December 8th.
If possible, please wrap your items in small zip-lock plastic bags. This really helps the volunteers who pack the gifts. If you have any questions, or if you'd like more information, contact Sharon Dowen at (815) 758-1278 or email@example.com. She will pick up all the baked goods, fruit, and other items from St. Paul's on Sunday afternoon, 12/8 and deliver them to the DeKalb County Hospice office.

Make a Donation for Vestments/Other Articles to Enhance Our Services!
The Altar Guild has prepared a display posted on the board in the hallway by the Parish Hall which describes the new Vestments, altar and pulpit stoles, chalice covers, cross, acolyte lamps, and other articles we are buying to enhance our worship services. Please look at the display and consider whether you might like to make a donation in memory of someone or merely to help St Paul's with the cost. We are using the Building Fund for payment since that is composed in part with donations contributed to St Paul's in the past. The cost of the individual items is listed, in case you would like to donate to a specific piece. A label would be applied to the selection if that were the case. Please contact Rev. Stacy or Jocelyn Prall, email@example.com, if you are interested in making a donation. The items have been ordered and are currently being sewn and constructed. We hope to have them in service by the end of November.
Next Date for Baptism -- Sunday, January 12th
Adults or families of children considering Baptism should contact Rev. Stacy as soon as possible.
