St. Paul's Episcopal Church

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." The First Letter of Paul to the Thessalonians (5:16-18).

Christopher Anderson - Stained Glass Panel

This window was created by stained glass artist Hank Barnes, of Heirloom Stained Glass in Rogers, Arkansas, and was dedicated in the summer of 2001.  David, Ellen and Lindsey Anderson decided to use the image of a dove in the panel because when Chris's grandfather Phil died, the church where his memorial service was held had a round window with a beautiful image of a dove. The dove caught Chris's eye and he leaned over to his mother, Ellen, and said, "Mom, the dove winked at me, I think it's Grandpa." As Chris was an acolyte, the window was placed behind the pew where he sat on many Sundays. He was killed in a car accident on July 18, 1999 at the age of 16. Artwork commissioned by David, Ellen & Lindsey Anderson.
