St. Paul's Episcopal Church

"Life is short and we have too little time to gladden the hearts of those who travel the way with us. Be swift to love. Make haste to be kind.” Henri Frederic Amiel, a 19th century Swiss philosopher

Christopher Anderson - Stained Glass Panel

This window was created by stained glass artist Hank Barnes, of Heirloom Stained Glass in Rogers, Arkansas, and was dedicated in the summer of 2001.  David, Ellen and Lindsey Anderson decided to use the image of a dove in the panel because when Chris's grandfather Phil died, the church where his memorial service was held had a round window with a beautiful image of a dove. The dove caught Chris's eye and he leaned over to his mother, Ellen, and said, "Mom, the dove winked at me, I think its Grandpa." As Chris was an acolyte, it was placed behind the pew where he sat on many Sundays. He was killed in a car accident on July 18, 1999 at the age of 16. Artwork commissioned by David, Ellen & Lindsey Anderson.
