Father Jack Schauble will be the supply priest on Sunday, September 25th, 2011, at both the 8:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. service. In case of a Pastoral Emergency, please contact the Senior Warden, Brad Cripe at 815-901-0047, or the Junior Warden, Mike Duffy at 815-508-5642.

There will be No Holy Eucharist this Wednesday, September 21, 2011

Reverend Stacy will be out of town this week, for Professional Development. The Holy Eucharist will resume on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011, at 9:30 A.M.

The Diocesan Convention will be held on Friday, November 18th & Saturday, November 19th, 2011 at the Westin Hotel in Lombard, IL

If you are interested in registering as a visitor or volunteering please go to the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago website; http://www.episcopalchicago.org/ and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the link for the ‘Diocesan Convention’ under the ‘Highlights’ section. All are welcome to attend.

3rd Annual Pet Blessing to be held on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

St. Paul’s will be hosting the 3rd Annual Pet Blessing on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. This will take place on the patio, weather permitting. All pets must be on a leash, in a crate or in a carrier. Owners are more than welcome to bring photographs of their pet(s) if he/she is unable to attend. Representatives from Tails Humane Society will be in attendance and will be collecting toys and paper towels.

Join Us on Friday, October 7th, 2011 for Crepes on the Patio!

The crepes ladies are coming back! Mark your calendars for Friday, October 7th, 2011. We will be enjoying crepes prepared by the Crepes Ladies from Rochelle. The fun for adults begins about 5:30 P.M. with a social hour and crepes will be served around 6:00 P.M. There will be dinner crepes, filled with meat, cheese or vegetables, as well as dessert crepes. To register for this event you will need to sign up by Tuesday, October 4th, 2011. The cost to attend is $12 per person. We will collect the night of the event. Bring an appetizer to share, your own beverage, wine glasses if needed, and your French accent! Music Program Notes: All Singers & Instrumentalist Welcome!

Adult/Youth Choir Rehearsals are held every Thursday from 7-9 P.M. and every Sunday at 10 A.M.
Children’s Choir Rehearsal will resume on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011, from 11:30-11:45 A.M. and be held regularly, every Sunday during this time.

Here is Your Opportunity to Serve at St. Paul’s (Sign-Up Sheets are Available in the Parish Hall)

The time has come for us to get back to “work” on fulfilling the calling of our lives. This year, we will have sign-up sheets, after both services, in the parish hall for the various opportunities to serve at St. Paul's. Opportunities include: Choir, Acolytes, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Guild, Flower Guild, Lectors, Intercessors, Mission and Outreach, Neighborhood Garden, etc. Please stop by the parish hall if you would like to sign-up for a ministry or two.
