Outreach 2007- 2008

St. Paul’s is involved in a number of community service projects. This year's activities include:
Hope Haven Homeless Shelter: Our next opportunity to provide dinner for the residents of Hope Haven will be November 30. We usually cover any fifth Fridays. Remaining dates in 2008 will be May 30, August 29, and October 31. Contact person: Maureen Gerrity.
C.R.O.P. Walk: The walk is held in mid October. Contact person: Henry Leonard.
Thanksgiving meal baskets for the Salvation Army: Due in mid-November. Contact: Maureen Gerrity.
Baking for Hospice: Contact person: Sharon Dowen.
Christmas Gifts for Safe Passage youth and young parents: Contact person: Janie Torma
Also—there are two bins in the back of the sanctuary all year round. One is for non-perishable food donations for the DeKalb Food Pantry. The other is for used printer cartridges which benefit Habitat for Humanity. St. Paul’s also collects aluminum cans for Habitat for Humanity.
