Sunday School

The Episcopal Diocese of Chicago YOUTH MINISTRY seeks to build vital congregational ministries that gather, equip, and send young disciples of Jesus Christ. The diocese provides a variety of youth events and programs in addition to consultation, support, and resources for congregational youth ministry programs in their various stages of development.

The Adult Education Class meets in the conference room (year round) on Sundays from 9:15-10:15 A.M.

We are a delightful group of 10-12 souls, who abide by one strict principle: All are welcomed to participate in the Sunday discussions even if you have not read the designated reading for the week. Please join!

One of the selections last summer was Joan Chittister's "The Ten Commandments".

This fall, we are reading Chittister's book "Radical Spirit: 12 Ways to Live a Free and Authentic Life."

Check out Back2School, a free virtual devotional resource to help students transition from their summer days back to their classroom schedules at Daily interactive devotionals challenge readers to consider what their faith journeys will look like as they enter a brand-new year of school.

I Wonder...does God have bones? This is just one of the awesome questions that are being asked by the children in our Godly Play program, a curriculum designed to invite children to learn our sacred stories and Christian practices on their own terms, in their own time, using their own imaginations.
